Finally finished 4 weeks of house arrest! Saw my surgeon yesterday and got a good report, standing
on my own two feet again. Two more weeks of minimal restrictions but I can get outside, ride (not drive)
in a car, walk & use stairs. I will begin outpatient physical therapy on Monday.
Thanks, again, for all of your cards, good wishes & kind words. They have all been very helpful in
making my recovery happen.

Well Susan, don't say I didn't warn you. Here's a pic of Ed, still under house arrest until I see my doc on May 2. Hoping he'll free me then!!

Update? Update? Well.... I'm halfway through my four weeks of house arrest & feeling pretty good.
It becomes increasingly difficult to feel good & not be able to do anything, not even venture out in the beautiful weather we're having. The calls, cards & good wishes from good friends is helping me to keep my whining to a minimum. If I can find a decent 2 weeks post-op photo, I'll post it!

Hello all. I just want to say thank you for all of your kind words, support , cards etc...through my surgery.
It has all been, and still is, very much a part of my recovery. We got home yesterday and it really feels good to be here. Feeling fine & hope to be seeing you soon.

Hey kids, thanks for checking in. 12:20 PM feeling pretty damn good! Took my first walk, did pretty well
and may be eating solid foods tonight. Many thanks for all your kind thoughts & words.

Wednesday, April 4

 7 AM 1st day post-op  Look like a rat but had a good night & feel pretty good today despite the fact that I haven't eaten since 6 PM Monday.

11:30 a.m.      1 hour 45 minutes until surgery. here we go...... robin is at my side. thanks for all of your good wishes....but i am starving right now if you want to know the truth!   tune in for the post surgery  update.
